Attendant Resources
Attendant Training Opportunities
The Independent Living Center and Independent Living In-Home Care provide training opportunities for attendants. Check back for a training schedule or contact us for more information.
Background Checks
All attendants who work for either of TILC's Consumer Directed Services or In-Home Care programs must complete a background check with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR). If you do not have a completed background check, you can download the application and submit it to TILC with a check or money order for $9 made out to the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS). You can also complete the application online for $10, which speeds up the application process. If you believe you are already on the Family Care Safety Registry, you can confirm your background check on the FCSR website.
Attendant Registry
TILC attendants can be listed on our Attendant Registry. This registry is provided to consumers so that they can contact potential atendants to work for them. If you are an attendant and your information is incorrect or you are not listed and would like to be on the registry, please call Janelle at 417-659-8086 or email her at jdavis@ilcenter.org.
