Spinal Cord Injury Support


Dan Rife, Disability Support Coordinator, provides a variety of services for consumers who live with spinal cord injuries or disabilities with spinal cord symptoms.

Online Resources for Spinal Cord Injury Survivors

The Spinal Cord Injury Information Network--This is a great resource with medical and psychologial information, equipment tips, research updates and links to national organizations.

The Spinal Cord Injury Resource Center--This site includes a Spinal Cord 101 tutorial, tips for dealing with rehab, and survivor and family chat rooms and message boards.

Model Spinal Cord Injury Systems Knowledge Center--Based out of the University of Washington, this site includes medical information related to spinal cord injuries and links to other resources for medical information.

The National Spinal Cord Injury Associaton--This site includes a massive A-Z Resource List for SCI, a peer support network, and the SCI Life Newspaper.  Toll free helpline: 800-962-9629.
