The Independent Living Center has numerous volunteer opportunities and welcome participants. Volunteering is an excellent way to give back to your community while meeting new people!
Examples of volunteer opportunities include:
- Assisting with Mid-America Foods Distribution Day
- Recording the newsletter for consumers with visual impairment
- Office filing or reception work
- Peer support or disability mentoring
- Assisting with Social Club activities
- Voter registration assistance
- Delivering Adaptive Equipment
